Super cool and minimal place. There is no menu, you just tell your barista if you would like something hot or cold, with or without milk and that's it! Everything is $5 except for the espresso. The coffee itself was perfection. Make sure to get the drinks 'for here' because they get served in beautiful ceramics that were custom made. We did not get the matcha, but they do offer it as an option. The owners were there the time we went and they were delightful! I would come back again now that I know how to find it. There is no obvious sign outside, look for the tattoo parlor and it will be next door.

What everyone else already said! This place looks absolutely amazing! A hell of a lot went into the design and it works proper! Its totally unique and a nice fresh style to the coffee bar scene. From the moss covered wall and ceiling to the lighting and the concrete counter, it's all been put together with great care and amazing eye for design. The cups (pottery) are different and gorgeous (check out the cone shaped espresso cups, wow!) But even cooler are Giorgi and Blaze who are the most welcoming hosts there can be. You thought there cant be a coffee shop without attitude in LA? Wrong! These two are the nicest cats around. Handshake upon entering and wishing you a happy Friday? You bet! A free espresso cuz you mentioned that you miss the kind of espresso you had in Giorgi's homeland (Italy)? Of course! A jar of free coffee cuz you say you do drip at home? Here you go, let me know how you like it! And yes the cappuccino (which I paid for) was delicious too.
